Two Buffalo City Council members (Nowakowski & Rivera) told 2 on Your Side that they support a ban on certain types of short-term rentals. The potential for new restrictions on non-owner occupied short-term rentals has surprised owners after other regulations on short-term rentals were passed earlier this year.

Oxford passes a moratorium on short-term rentals in the Mile Square until April 2025, allowing time for drafting additional regulations. It passed during the council’s October 1st meeting. The impacted zones are R-1MS, R-2MS, R-3MS, and MU.
